Sam Relja
Samuel Relja, is a third year Mechanical Engineering Technologist student at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology, majoring in design and development. Sam brings a self-developed aptitude and passion for scientific advancement, coinciding with 10 years of corporate administrative experience to his role as SAIT Supernova's team lead and chief designer, contributing dynamic resourcefulness, knowledge, dedication, and creativity to the project. It has been a life long dream of Sam's to participate in projects which relate to the aerospace industry, and he is extremely excited to partake in such a tremendous opportunity.
Kylan Mazak
Kylan Mazak, a first-year Electronics Engineering Technology student at SAIT, is deeply engaged in all facets of the SAIT Supernovas CAN-RGX project. His passion for merging technology and innovation is evident as he takes a proactive role in spearheading sponsorship and marketing, while also actively participating in hands-on work. Kylan's comprehensive involvement extends to assisting with the development of electrical and safety systems, as well as mechanical and gyroscopic elements. This multi-faceted commitment underscores his dedication to ensuring a successful approach to the SAIT Supernovas engineering endeavor.
Leif Teigen
Leif Teigen is a third-year Mechanical Engineering Technology student at SAIT, where he channels his enthusiasm into contributing to the aerospace industry. Eager to learn and grow, Leif has taken on the role of Automation, Thruster and Gyroscopic Lead in a pioneering project, viewing it as a valuable opportunity to expand his knowledge and make a meaningful impact in the aerospace field. With a passion for pushing boundaries, Leif looks forward to leveraging this experience to propel himself further into the exciting realm of aerospace technology.
Ethan Good
Ethan Good, the electrical lead of the Supernovas team, is a second semester Electronics Engineering Technology student at SAIT. Ethan brings great knowledge and passion for electronics with a strong commitment to innovation. Currently contributing to the team with a focus in the electrical control and high voltage areas of the project
Isaac Richardson
Isaac Richardson, is a second year Mechanical Engineering Technologist student at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology. His major is design and development. He is very passionate about automotive design and motor sport engineering. He takes the role of structural design and fabrication for the CAN-RGX SAIT Supernovas team. This will let him get a chance to work with the design and fabrication aspect of many materials.
